Position: Welding Inspector

Location: Qatar

Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable based on project requirements)

Working Hours: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week

Mobilization: Immediate after interview

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Inspector to join our client's project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in welding inspection, with extensive oil & gas sector experience and recognized certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct welding inspections as per project specifications, codes, and standards.

Ensure compliance with approved welding procedures, WPS, and international codes.

Verify welder qualifications and monitor performance during welding activities.

Review and maintain welding-related documentation, reports, and quality records.

Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.

Liaise with client representatives, site supervisors, and QA/QC team for quality assurance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in oil & gas industry.

Experience with fabrication of offshore structures like modules, topside, platforms is mandatory.

AWS or CSWIP 3.1 certification is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of international welding codes and standards.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Salary: Competitive (inclusive of all benefits, including leave salary & gratuity).
