We are looking for an experienced

Welder/Fitter

to join our team at a reputable facility management company in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in welding and fitting, with the ability to maintain and repair mechanical systems and structures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fitting tasks to assemble and fabricate metal structures and components. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications and requirements. Assemble, install, and maintain pipes, valves, tanks, and other mechanical systems for various facility management needs. Inspect and test welded and fitted components to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address mechanical failures and perform repairs as necessary. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Operate and maintain welding and fitting equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficient facility operations. Assist in other tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility manager.

Requirements:

2-3 years of experience as a Welder/Fitter in a facility management, industrial, or similar environment. Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick). Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fitting, and assembly processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality standards. Good understanding of safety protocols and ability to work in compliance with safety standards. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and schedules. Strong communication skills and ability to report on work progress and issues.
