Ensure welding is completed according to
API 1104, ASME Section IX
, and client specifications.
Support
pipeline installations, modifications, shutdowns, and tie-in activities
.
Assist in
hydrostatic pressure testing
and
radiographic testing (RT)
of weld joints.
Maintain tools, welding equipment, and safety gear in proper condition.
Follow
strict safety procedures
, especially in gas-sensitive environments.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspection reports.
Collaborate with QA/QC teams during inspections and audits.
Requirements:
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Welding, or related field.
Minimum 2
-5 years of experience
in LPG pipeline welding and maintenance.
Certified in
SMAW/ARC welding
(preferably 6G position).
Knowledge of
API 1104
,
ASME codes
, and LPG handling standards.
Experience with
gas detectors, pressure testing equipment, and welding machines
.
Strong awareness of
health, safety, and environmental protocols
.
Ability to work in confined spaces and under high-risk conditions.
Willingness to travel or work on-site as required.
Preferred Certifications:
ARC Welder (6G or equivalent )
