The Welder is responsible for joining metal parts and structures using various welding techniques, ensuring high-quality, durable, and precise welds. The role involves reading blueprints, operating welding equipment safely, and performing maintenance or fabrication work as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Set up welding machines based on job requirements.
Weld components using MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding techniques.
Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure quality.
Repair broken or cracked metal parts and fill holes or seams.
Maintain welding tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Ensure work is completed according to company and quality standards.
