You must ensure high-quality output, maintain safety standards, and contribute to overall production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication of metal components as per specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately and effectively.
Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
Operate tools and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other fabricators.
Conduct basic maintenance on welding equipment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a welder in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in MIG/TIG/Arc welding or other welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to follow them.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy components.
Welding certification (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in welding, fabrication, or a related field.
Experience working in the
electrical panel/switchgear
industry (optional based on your company).
Familiarity with ISO or IMS procedures and standards.
