Responsibilities
Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Set up and operate welding equipment and tools according to safety standards.
Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures for quality and integrity.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and solve welding-related issues.
Record and document work performed, including materials used and time spent on projects.
Requirements
Proven experience as a welder in a mechanical or industrial engineering environment.
Certification from an accredited welding program or vocational school.
Strong understanding of welding procedures and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Familiarity with different welding techniques and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
Good physical condition and stamina to work in a demanding environment.
