Job purpose:
To perform the production task like:
Welding (TIG/MIG) of switchgear components as per drawing and support /execute all tasks assigned by Team Leader related to welding, grinding and finishing.
Mechanical activities/assemblies
Physical handling of components and products
Key Accountabilities:
Should be able to weld and grind the parts as per requirements.
Able to read and understand welding Drawings.
Once the part is completed it should be properly identified and transfer to next station.
Achieving daily/weekly production and efficiency targets.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
ITI or certification course in Welding. (1 or 2 years)
2 to 5 years of experience as a TIG welder in the manufacturing or fabrication industry.
Knowledge and experience of working on robotic welding is essential.
Preferably on Cloos machines.Job-Specific Skills:
Basic knowledge of welding & robotic machines.
Behavioural Competencies:
Must know to communicate in English, with basic computer knowledge.
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the company.
Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company's business and staff.
