Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication work using various welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), or FCAW, depending on project requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Set up welding machines, select appropriate welding materials, and prepare workpieces for welding.
Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing work as required.
Follow all safety and quality standards in the workshop or job site.
Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Collaborate with fabricators and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience
as a welder in construction, fabrication, or industrial projects.
Knowledge of different welding processes and techniques (TIG, MIG, ARC, etc.).
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
Basic English communication skills
(speaking and understanding required).
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills.
