The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.

Responsibilities:

Core PHP Development

- Design, develop and maintain server-side logic in PHP.

- Build reusable, modular code and libraries for future use.

Front-end & CMS Integration

- Implement UI/UX designs using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

- Integrate and customize CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Drupal).

Mobile Application Support

- Collaborate with mobile-app teams to expose and consume RESTful APIs.

- Ensure seamless integration between web back-end and mobile front-ends.

SEO Strategy & Implementation

- Perform on-page SEO: title tags, meta descriptions, header structure and keyword optimization.

- Implement technical SEO: site-speed enhancements, XML sitemaps, structured data.

- Monitor performance with Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, etc.

Development & Integration Tasks

- Develop and deploy brand-page templates and functionality

- Update CRM sales-collection tools for streamlined data capture

- Map customer journeys and implement related workflows

- Build applications & loyalty-points modules and activation processes

- Automate computers-backup processes

- Implement a location-reporting system

- Ecommerce websites Integration.

Testing & Documentation

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

- Document technical designs, APIs and deployment procedures.

Collaboration & Communication

- Partner with designers, product managers and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and code reviews.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional PHP development (Laravel, Symfony or similar) Proficient with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript Experience integrating and supporting mobile apps via RESTful APIs Solid grasp of on-page and technical SEO best practices Familiarity with Git version control Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL Comfortable in Linux-based hosting environments and CI/CD pipelines Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
