Job Description

We're hiring a

Web Developer

with

deep SEO expertise

to build high-performing

web applications and sites

using

pure code

(HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP). You'll also work hands-on in

Shopify

and

WordPress

--customizing themes, templates, and plugins--while owning technical SEO and performance.

What you'll do

Build and maintain

web apps/sites with semantic

HTML

, modern

CSS

, vanilla

JavaScript

, and

PHP

--frameworks are a plus.

Shopify:

customize Liquid themes, sections/JSON templates, metafields, app integrations, storefront SEO (collections/products/blog), redirects, and structured data.

WordPress:

develop custom themes/plugins, register blocks (Gutenberg), optimize permalink/taxonomy structure, and ensure secure, performant deployments.

Own technical SEO:

architecture, crawl/indexation rules, canonical/hreflang, XML sitemaps, robots directives, pagination/faceted navigation, and JSON-LD schema patterns.

Improve Core Web Vitals:

critical CSS, defer/async JS, responsive images (srcset/sizes), caching/headers/CDN strategy, and Lighthouse/PageSpeed remediation.

On-page SEO at scale:

keyword-to-template mapping, reusable meta systems, internal linking frameworks, media optimization.

Analytics & tracking:

GA4, GTM, Search Console; define events and QA data accuracy.

Quality & delivery:

Git workflow, PR reviews, basic CI checks, staging/release management, and clear documentation.
What you'll bring

2+ years

web development with measurable

SEO impact

1+

experience in

Shopify (Liquid)

and

WordPress (custom themes/plugins)

. Strong command of

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP

(pure coding), accessibility (WCAG 2.2), HTTP, and caching fundamentals. Practical

MySQL

basics, secure form handling, simple CRUD endpoints, RESTful integrations. Proficiency with

GSC, GA4, GTM, Screaming Frog/Sitebulb, Lighthouse/PageSpeed Insights
