Web Developer Munich Re Underwriting Agents (DIFC) Ltd., Dubai, part of Munich Re, is the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest reinsurer. The Web Developer will develop and support high quality group and/or individual underwriting platforms and product development for reinsurance clients according to the Munich Re Corporate IT Guidelines to ensure compliance and business goals are met.

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Design, develop, and deploy components for web applications
- Responsible for writing and maintaining well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices.
- Collaborate with backend development, infrastructure, quality assurance, or other technical teams to ensure smooth deployment of each product release
- Be a key contributor to overall user experience and design of end-to-end UI / UX framework.
- Establish and maintain consistent user interface branding across products and platforms
- Present designs and constraints to stakeholders and technical teams
- Collaborate with product owners to understand needs and identify features to address them
- Work with leadership to define and adapt delivery schedules of features
- Assist in supporting and troubleshooting deployed systems
- Participate in code reviews focusing on performance, reliability and maintainability
- Continuously learn about new technologies and help keep the team informed of industry developments and evolving best practices.
Your Profile:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering / Computer Science.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Programing and web development.
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Front End development experience using Angular 4+ is must;
- Strong Knowledge of C#, .NET MVC , Entity frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of client side dynamic and rich UI applications development.
- Excellent understanding of cross-browser development and complex layouts.
- Ability to design, author, and maintain JavaScript libraries/framework used in different parts of the web application.
- Experience in developing applications using Typescript, jQuery, third-party controls like Telerik / DevExpress
- Hands on experience on HTML, CSS, bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and Prototyping.
- Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies, including but not limited to JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Angular, React or Sass.
- Knowledge of handling SQL queries, stored procedure and triggers is a plus
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, and efficient code (and tests to go with it!)
- Passion for developing functional and beautiful applications
- Strong knowledge in consuming Web API, security & testing aspects
- Experience working with Web Services using XML and JSON;
- Proficient with tools for website debugging and cross browser testing;
- Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills
- Good problem-solving skills
