Web Content Editor with a strong focus on Quality Assurance
to ensure our website content meets the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, editing, and managing website content to maintain brand consistency and optimize the user experience. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure all published content is error-free, well-structured.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
thorough quality checks
on all website content, ensuring accuracy, grammar, formatting, and brand consistency.
Edit and proofread content to eliminate errors, inconsistencies, or broken links before publication.
Monitor website updates to ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements.
Work with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) to upload, edit, and manage content.
Identify and report website bugs, formatting issues, and technical content discrepancies.
Perform regular content audits to ensure outdated, duplicate, or irrelevant content is updated or removed.
Collaborate with developers to test and validate content across different devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
Conduct usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience and suggest improvements.
Track content performance and user feedback to refine quality control processes.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in web content editing, quality assurance, or digital publishing.
Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
* Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
