Web 3 - Utility token SME

We are looking for a driven and technically fluent Web 3 expert to develop the product concept and go-to-market strategy of our utility token. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, legal/compliance and other relevant teams to define the token's lifecycle--from issuance and internal mechanics to external exchange integration and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the business team to define the token's utility, internal economic model, and role within the closed-loop ecosystem. Define the concept and plan for end-to-end product development for the token--from whitepaper ideation to smart contract deployment and marketplace integration. Develop tokenomics models and collaborate with external economists or token engineering firms as needed. Develop the product roadmap for all token-related initiatives, including internal wallet mechanics, redemption flows, staking (if applicable), and burn/reward logic. Conduct market research on token standards (ERC-20, ERC-777, etc.), Layer 1 vs Layer 2 networks, gas efficiency, and cross-chain options. Work with legal counsel to ensure regulatory alignment (e.g., utility token classification, KYC/AML integration). Define KPIs for token performance (adoption, retention, velocity, exchange volume). Work with business teams to define ecosystem participants, partners, and exchanges. Serve as the internal expert on blockchain UX best practices, wallet integrations, and token security.

Qualifications Required:

5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2 years focused on blockchain or crypto-related products. Proven experience launching at least one tokenized product--ideally involving both closed-loop utility and external exchange listings. Strong understanding of tokenomics, smart contract workflows, and decentralized applications. Familiarity with Layer 1/2 protocols (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, etc.), bridge infrastructure, and gas optimization strategies. Ability to collaborate with technical teams on smart contract development, audits, and deployment cycles. Experience with compliance requirements, especially in differentiating utility vs. security tokens in UAE. Deep understanding of user flows involving wallets (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect), custody, and trading. Excellent communication and documentation skills--able to produce whitepapers, PRDs, and internal memos with clarity.

Preferred:

Experience working with early-stage startups or Web3 ventures. Familiarity with exchange listing processes (CEX and DEX). Understanding of DeFi mechanisms, such as AMMs, liquidity pools, and staking. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
