Waterproofing Technician (Construction Specialist)

URGENT

IMMEDIATE JOINING

Location:

Mogadishu, Somalia

Key Responsibilities:

? Apply waterproofing systems (membranes, coatings, sealants, injections) on roofs, basements, walls, and wet areas.
? Prepare and treat surfaces before applying waterproofing materials to ensure durability and performance.
? Inspect, test, and repair leaks, cracks, and dampness in concrete and masonry works.
? Follow technical drawings and instructions to implement waterproofing solutions.
? Operate equipment and tools for application, mixing, and sealing materials.
? Monitor curing processes to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
? Work closely with civil engineers, supervisors, and finishing teams to coordinate tasks.
? Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations at all times.
? Maintain daily logs of work completed, materials used, and site conditions.

Qualifications & Experience:

? Technical diploma or trade certification in

Waterproofing / Civil Works / Construction Trades

? Minimum

3 years of experience

as a waterproofing technician in high-rise, hotel, or commercial projects.
? Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems such as bituminous, polyurethane, acrylic, epoxy, and cementitious applications.
? Ability to detect and troubleshoot water leakage problems effectively.
? Familiarity with safety procedures, tools, and equipment related to waterproofing works.
? Good teamwork and communication skills.
