At Jacobs, we're seeking a client facing Marine Waterfronts Lead to help oversee the complex and the everyday project tasks for a variety of our marine clients based in KSA. This role will help you grow your career, but also grow client relationships and business development opportunities for Jacobs.

Based in KSA, as member of Jacobs Ports and Maritime team, you'll have an opportunity to work on projects across Saudi Arabia with the support of regional and global teams.

Make a difference. You will report directly to the regional Technical Director and Sales Leader for Waterfront Developments. You will work alongside a highly motivated team of professionals in a fast-paced environment in the Middle East. You will lead multi-disciplinary, multi-office teams to win, execute and deliver marine waterfront projects to agreed standards, on-time, and within budget. You will need a flair for collaboration and have established your reputation to the highest standards of service and project delivery.

As Marine Waterfronts Lead KSA, you will be exercising your professional judgement and will lead high-level management meetings on projects and will provide appropriate guidance to develop Jacobs waterfront opportunities in KSA and to deliver our projects to the clients expectations. You will coordinate resources, plan tasks and will contribute to our business goals. You will quickly assimilate into leading project teams for the delivery of waterfront projects in KSA, bringing project delivery experience within a multi-disciplinary environment. You will be responsible for ensuring inter-office project planning, delivery and financial performance of bids and projects. You will have autonomy over the management of project deliverables and drive the business development activities including business relationships with Clients, identifying work opportunities, and managing delivery of proposals. You will have the opportunity to utilize your professional leadership, support and development of the team within KSA.

This role is a key pillar of the Jacobs Ports and Maritime Strategy and will have a central position in engaging our clients at the highest levels to understand and support their aspirations. You will work with valued clients, supporting their requirements as necessary, assisting strategic bids, growing the local team and being a visible industry leader in delivery for Jacobs. You will partner with sales to ensure healthy growth of portfolio at market/sector level and stay on top of the market trends and the teams' capabilities. You will ensure a consistent approach to delivery execution within KSA.

Qualifications

As a successful candidate you will have a degree in a relevant field of study and professional Qualification or MSc is advantageous with a background focused on marine and waterfront developments and links into the maritime sector, industry awareness. You will have experience of working in design and delivering marine and waterfront projects for a variety of client sectors and types. You'll bring a diverse range of experience having in delivered large projects with a proven ability in developing good working relationships with clients, and preparation of bids and proposals. If you have Middle East experience, and specifically KSA experience, it would be very advantageous. You'll need strong communication and presentation skills to address senior leaders and executives to communicate effectively to the client and other stakeholders and you'll have demonstrable experience of leading and inspiring project teams.
