Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Water Treatment Plant Designer and Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the engineering design and cost estimation of water treatment systems, including new installations and retrofits. This role requires independent technical execution during the design phase and close coordination with project and sales teams during execution and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Design comprehensive water and wastewater treatment systems, including STP, ETP, RO, Demineralization, and Desalination units Prepare process flow diagrams, perform equipment sizing and load calculations, and generate detailed bills of quantities (BOQs) Draft 2D layouts and schematics using AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is advantageous Develop accurate cost estimates, liaise with vendors for up-to-date pricing, and implement value engineering where required Attend site visits and support the sales team during technical meetings and client discussions Coordinate with the project execution team following design handover Document all designs, costing details, and technical submittals clearly and professionally Utilize ERP systems for estimation and workflow integration when applicable

Candidate Requirements

Minimum five years of proven experience in the design and estimation of water and wastewater treatment systems Strong understanding of process engineering principles, hydraulic and equipment calculations, and system layouts Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Revit is preferred Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate cost breakdowns and source market-based pricing Excellent command of English with the ability to communicate technical details to internal teams and clients Familiarity with UAE regulations and standards is preferred but not mandatory Strong sense of accountability and the ability to manage multiple projects independently

Work Environment

Hybrid role with flexibility between office and remote work Site visits and client meetings are expected based on project requirements
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED8,500.00 per month
