Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Water Hygiene Technician

to carry out water hygiene, monitoring, testing, and disinfection activities across facilities in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have

a minimum of 5 years total experience

, including

at least 3 years of relevant experience in Qatar

, and be familiar with local standards and best practices related to water hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out

water hygiene services

in compliance with company procedures and local regulations Perform

water tank cleaning and disinfection

(potable and non-potable water tanks) Conduct

water sampling, testing, and monitoring

as per schedules Carry out

chlorination and dosing

activities safely and accurately Monitor and control risks related to

waterborne bacteria

(as per approved procedures) Inspect and maintain

water systems

, including storage tanks, pipelines, and outlets Maintain records of: Water test results Cleaning and disinfection activities Service reports and checklists Identify non-compliance or hygiene risks and report to supervisors Follow

health, safety, and PPE requirements

at all times Coordinate with supervisors, facility teams, and clients as required Respond to emergency water hygiene issues when required

Mandatory Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years total experience

as a Water Hygiene Technician

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Qatar - Mandatory

Experience in

facility management, healthcare, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities

Qualifications (Preferred)

Diploma / ITI / relevant technical qualification Water hygiene, tank cleaning, or related certifications (preferred) Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to water hygiene

Technical Knowledge Required

Potable and non-potable water systems Water tank cleaning and disinfection procedures Water sampling and testing methods Chlorination and chemical handling Risk assessment related to water hygiene Safe work practices and documentation

Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of water hygiene practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting Physically fit for site work Responsible, disciplined, and safety-focused

Work Environment

Facility management sites / commercial buildings / healthcare facilities Outdoor and confined space work may be required Shift duty or emergency call-outs as required
