As the Water Delivery Tech, you will support and provide water delivery services between the hours of 0700-1800. You are responsible for receipt and delivery of water, managing inventory levels, and providing ready-to-order document for re-stocking requirements. You will manage all water within Class I storage area. Other duties may be assigned inclusive of assisting with lodging furniture logistics and lodging administrative functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Overseas the distribution of approximately 90 - 110 weekly pallets of critical drinking water supplies to over 110 designated locations on Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE.
  • Escort water delivery trucks from the front gate to the water storage yard where the individual shall unload the water pallets and store them in the water storage yard. Ensure the water storage yard is secured at all times. The Vehicle Transportation Operator shall also escort the delivery trucks leaving the base after the delivery has been completed.
  • Provide information necessary to place water orders 24 hours in advance. Receive water shipments ordered and received on Wednesday and Friday of each week. Individual shall ensure the correct amount of water is delivered, and that bottles, cases and pallets are not damaged. Notify the Contracting Officer or DGR of any discrepancies.
  • Provides water delivery services between the hours of 0700-1800, Monday through Saturday as needed.
  • Rotate water pallets using the first in/first out (FIFO) method after each water delivery.
  • Receive non-scheduled requests estimated at 7-10 per week for water delivery and pallet pickup.
  • Verify that no damage has occurred during the delivery and after each pallet has been downloaded.
  • Contact Bio-environmental to inform them how much water was delivered and that it\xe2\x80\x99s ready for testing.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the facility ensuring a clean, sanitary, presentable, professional work area free of dirt, debris, clutter, trash and dust.
  • Will assist with Lodging duties including but not limited to: manning the lodging desk, assist with assembling, breaking down, removing and delivering furniture, refrigerators, and other lodging related items.
  • Rotate the stock of bottled water in the refrigeration units and clean and sanitize each refrigerator at least once a week.
  • Assist with other facilities or departments as needed to ensure mission success.
  • Monitor all OCN staff associated with the department and if needed other departments.
  • Performs other related duties needed/required to support the mission.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 6K and 10K Forklift and 6K Boom lift experience.
  • Previous military experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Commercial Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License (CDL)
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification desirable.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19 as outlined in Paragraph 1.A. of the USCENTCOM JAN 22 MOD SIXTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for the U.A.E.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be knowledgeable at an intermediate level in Microsoft products inclusive of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Valid US Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid ADAB military driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and appropriate licensure for all vehicles they will operate to include a 10K all-terrain forklift and flatbed truck.
