Monitor the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Perform regular patrols of the property, ensuring all areas are secure and reporting any suspicious activity.
Ensure that all security systems (CCTV, alarms, gates) are operational and report any malfunctions.
Lock and unlock gates, doors, and windows as needed, ensuring security is maintained at all times.
Maintain a logbook of all activities, including security patrols, maintenance tasks, and any incidents.
Report any unusual incidents, damage, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with general tasks and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a watchman or security guard is highly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform patrols and basic manual labor tasks.
Strong communication skills to report incidents and work with other staff.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
