Job Purpose

Reviews and analyses aircraft defects to ensure effective implementation of warranties and to recover maximum warranty repair benefits from the various contracts and agreements.

Collaborate with the Maintenance and Planning teams to finalize the billing process for third-party customers/air operators within the Air Arabia Group and liaise with the Finance Department to ensure that the invoice is sent to the customer and subsequently monitor / follow up on the status of the receivables.

Key Result Responsibilities

Review the aircraft defects to identify the qualified warranty events and consult with Warranty Engineer to initiate claims as necessary.

Scrutinize heavy maintenance check package for the NRCs raised and identify; take appropriate action by generating warranty claims.

Support and assist with day-to-day activities, administration, preparation and submission of the reports and statements for management review.

Update warranty database by recording correspondences, evaluation, rejection and compiling warranty adjudications, quotes/invoices of warranty repair, credit notes and cost saving related to claims for an effective control and to track and manage information.

Review, analyse and exercise aspect of warranties, commitments and industry support per agreements, delivery document SBs/Ads/CMLs, engineering order and warranty repair quotations by raising, tracking and adjudication claims for maximum recovery.

Ensure to have all the evidence and initiate the claim with the collected evidence or as requested by the OEMs/Vendor including Photos, Warranty Clause Reference, Warranty expiry date, Failure Mode etc. to effectively close the claim in minimum possible timeframe.

Identifies high-valued, frequently utilized consumables that qualify for warranty remedies to be routed to U/S bay; constantly negotiates with suppliers to obtain FOC (Free of Charge) replacements.

Liaises with Hubs to identify and collect the data for possible cases worthy of warranty claims.

Build and keep a professional relationship with all warranty teams at OEMs, Vendor etc. Keep technical and contractual knowledge up to date.

Generate the warranty status report on regular basis to ensure control over the contractual obligations, spare parts and annual guarantees.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to define relevant contracts, quotations and project codes in System (AMOS) for third party customers / other AOCs within the Group.

Collaborate with the Maintenance and Planning teams to finalize the billing process for third-party customers/air operators within the Air Arabia Group and liaise with the Finance Department to ensure that the invoice is sent to the customer and subsequently monitor / follow up on the status of the receivables.

Generate MIS for management review at regular intervals (once a month).

Perform any other tasks relevant to the role as assigned by the Line Manager

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

- Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Industrial/Mechanical or equivalent.

- Warranty related certificates or training courses are considered a plus.

- Good knowledge of AMOS ERP.

- Proficient in technology systems & tools; Proficient in Microsoft suite, Advanced Excel.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.

- Fluent in English Language.

Work Experience

- 3+ years\' experience in the Airline industry in a similar capacity handling aircraft warranty; has worked in close interaction with different functions such as Engineering/Maintenance & Finance.

- Experienced in aircraft systems and components, Airbus A320 aircraft experience is highly desirable.

- Possesses very good understanding of the functions and processes within Engineering & Maintenance.

- Possesses appropriate knowledge of the GCAA and CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) necessary requirements.

- Proven skills in analysing data, identifying variations and recommending cost-effective solutions.

- A balanced personality with focus, analytical thinking, efficiency and commitment to successful results.

- Exposure to Quality Assurance/Safety/Audit practices related to and affecting maintenance and warranties.

- Experienced in working with a team of professionals (Engineers and Technicians) in a frequently changing environment with heavy work-load schedules and ad-hoc scenarios.

- Demonstrates high accuracy and attention to both results and details.

- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
