Job Description

Job Purpose:
To supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of materials, tools, and equipment in compliance with company standards, client requirements, and HSE regulations within oil & gas projects or facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse staff and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all material movements in ERP or manual systems.
• Verify incoming materials against delivery notes, purchase orders, and quality standards.
• Maintain proper identification, labeling, and segregation of materials, including hazardous and non-hazardous items.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse manager or procurement team for replenishment.
• Plan and control warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and safe material handling.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Conduct routine physical inventory checks and assist in periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
• Supervise loading/unloading operations and ensure use of appropriate lifting and handling equipment.
• Train and guide storekeepers, forklift operators, and helpers in proper warehousing and safety practices.
• Prepare daily/weekly warehouse reports on material transactions and stock status.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and maintenance departments for timely material delivery to project sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in warehouse or material management, preferably in oil & gas,
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, materials management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP).
• Understanding of hazardous materials handling and HSE compliance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Forklift and equipment operation knowledge preferred.
