We are currently selecting for WAREHOUSE SUPERINTENDENT Ref code: CR_ 2207-100_ WAREHOUSE SUPERINTENDENT Job summary The role of the WAREHOUSE SUPERINTENDENT is to ensure the receipt and inspection of materials upon arrival on site in terms of integrity, conformity and quantity, as per specifications/ technical drawings, purchase orders and packing lists Moreover, he/ she makes sure the adequate handling, storage and preservation of materials, in accordance with the relevant procedures defined by vendors, clients and projects while ensuring the handover and traceability of materials. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience
At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar position
Proficiency in English
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards
Guarantee the execution of project’s quality and contractual requirements
Ensure the segregation of non-conforming materials
Ensure the receipt and inspection of materials upon arrival on site in terms of integrity, conformity and quantity, as per specifications/ technical drawings, purchase orders and packing lists
Ensure the availability of adequate means for handling materials
Ensure the storage and preservation of materials, in accordance with the relevant procedures defined by vendors, clients and projects
Ensure prompt communication with Quality Departments when the material is ready for inspection
Keep track and up to date available materials and incoming materials and help with feasibility analysis, issuing the relevant reports
Ensure the update of the relevant Software Stystems (e.g., MARIAN, MAGA, FMS as applicable)
Verify, together with the Quality Department, the Test Certificate Number and heat cast number and keep record of the certificates
Manage and control the handover of materials to Subcontractors and/or construction execution team, according to site procedures, ensuring vouchers’ record
Manage and control the shipment of non-conforming materials/ the materials to be repaired
Ensure the prompt issue of MRRs (Materials Requisitions Requests) to allow materials procurement
Coordinate human and technical resources, indicating any needs or surplus
Contribute to continuous improvement process through the provision of suggestions regarding methodologies, tools, material management
Ensure coordination with the Site Construction Management or the Fabrication Yard Production Planning and Control unit to reconcile materials with clients and/or subcontractors
