Job Title: Storekeeper Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, products, or equipment. Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic and accessible manner. Regularly conduct physical counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies. Stock Issuance: Process requisitions, withdrawals, and returns accurately and in a timely manner. Prepare and package items for shipment or delivery. Ensure proper documentation for all stock transactions. Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, and report any discrepancies. Monitor and report on damaged or expired goods. Organization and Cleanliness: Keep the storage area clean, organized, and free from hazards. Implement proper storage techniques to maximize space utilization. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and transactions. Generate regular reports on stock status, consumption, and trends. Communication: Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other departments as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment used in the storage and handling of goods. Compliance: Adhere to safety and security procedures in the storage area. Comply with relevant laws and regulations governing inventory management. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role. Experience in the food and beverage industry is highly desirable. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus. Skills: Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
