Job Title: Warehouse Picker

Job Summary:

As a warehouse picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking products from designated storage areas within the warehouse according to order sheets or pick lists. You will ensure that the correct quantity and type of product is picked and ready for shipment or delivery in a timely manner. Attention to detail and efficiency are critical in this role to maintain the smooth flow of operations within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking Orders:

Use pick lists or order sheets to identify and select products from shelves or storage areas within the warehouse.

Quality Control:

Verify products selected against the order to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

Packaging:

Prepare picked products for shipment or delivery by packaging them securely and labeling them appropriately.

Inventory Management:

Update inventory records or warehouse management systems to reflect the accurate movement of products.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Operational Support:

Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed, such as receiving, stocking, or loading, to support overall warehouse operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills for updating inventory systems. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment:

The position operates primarily in a warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
