Warehouse Helpers are responsible for helping storekeepers with inventory management, stock control, customer assistance, cleaning, and maintenance.
Assisting the storekeeper in forecasting demand and ensuring adequate inventory levels.
Helping place orders for items that are low on supply and tracking their orders and/or shipment.
Inspecting the items for any defects and ensuring proper documentation of the items received.
Performing stock rotation to ensure utilization of goods and minimize wastage and/or near-expiry products.
Assisting in conducting periodic audits of the inventory, such as physical counting, verification, quality checks, and organizing to identify areas of improvement.
Handling the process of returns or exchanges by checking the return policies, verifying the condition of items and arranging for the return items or orders.
Organizing shelves and displays inside the warehouse and/or stock room.
Moving items from the warehouse to the store whenever necessary.
Other tasks assigned by the owner and/or immediate supervisor.
Warehouse Helper Requirements:
Must be organized and punctual.
Well-presented and professional.
A high school qualification or equivalent.
Prior experience in retail and/or related experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Male and can join immediately.
