Job Summary
IIQAF is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supporting our mission to provide top-quality education and training in the field of quality assurance and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect and stock incoming materials and products in a timely and accurate manner
Prepare orders and shipments for delivery to customers, ensuring correct items and quantities are picked and packaged
Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Utilize inventory management software to track and monitor stock levels, orders and shipments
Assist with maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and other team members to resolve any inventory or shipping related issues
Participate in periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field
Valid forklift certification and experience operating machinery
Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and professional attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time
