Job Summary: Looking for a Warehouse Assistant in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

Handle the receiving, inspection and verification of incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and quality control
Identify ways to maximize warehouse storage space, removing warehouse trash on a regular basis
Collaborate with the warehouse team to prioritize and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliations
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety regulations at all times
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies as well as regulatory requirements
Coordinate with other departments such as purchasing and customer service to resolve any issues related to inventory or order fulfillment
Promptly notifying management of damaged merchandise or equipment
Carry out any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience working as a warehouse assistant or similar position
Proficiency in using computer systems as well as inventory management software
Good organizational skills with the ability to pay attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Good knowledge of safety protocols as well as the ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
