Job Description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Manage an assigned area or team by planning, organizing, and following up warehouse and logistics activities to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operation in accordance with HSEQ requirements, warehouse & logistics cost and service targets.

Dimensions:

Warehouse/Logistics staff Supervised: 35

Responsibilities:

Ensure that internal and external HSEQ requirements are followed.

Manage warehouse and logistics personnel by ensuring that KPI's & tasks in their areas are executed

Lead the team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun's current and future needs

Organizing handling of all incoming orders and activities to meet the KPI's & OTIF

Planning and organizing daily distribution and activities of localExports/Stock transfers

Manage all operations within the warehouse, e.g., receiving FGs and packaging, and controlling Certificate of Analysis, safe storage, Stock counting, and Logistics & distribution

Handle non-conform goods & report near misses in HSEQ syste

Monitor transport delivery performance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of experience in CSD/Warehouse & Logistics/Supply Chain or any related role. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or any related field Leadership experience is essential.

Personal qualities:- Builds a network of contacts and relationships with operators and encourage them to achieve objectives Acts on initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the agreed KPI'S/results Use a systematic approach, defines clear objectives at operator level & supervisor level and allocates resources effectively. Understand and analyses internal & external challenges and identify a sound and rational solution Communicates in a clear, precise, and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively. Guide the team with a clear sense of direction, inspires, and coordinates others and keep them focused & support to achieve objectives.
