Job Description
Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the registered nurse. Contribute to the general
environment of the hospital well-being of the patient as a member of the nursing team.
Assist in patient care and other ward related duties as directed by and under supervision of the staff nurse.
+ Respond quickly to patient's request for assistance.
+ Assist with patient's elimination, mobility, physical comfort, eating and drinking needs
+ Assist the nursing staff in bed making, sponge bathing and other hygienic activity of the patient.
+ Responsible for segregation of soiled linen as per infection control guide lines under the supervision of nursing personnel.
+ Assist in the maintenance of cleanliness in all areas including patient's room within the unit.
+ Assist in the maintenance of supply and storage areas.
+ Act as a messenger when required.
+ Escort patients to and from the Department as directed by nurse on duty.
+ To be responsible to act as a part of infection prevention and control programs.
+ Assist nursing staff in preparing/cleaning patient's room for admission/discharge.
+ Participates in any scheduled educational activitieswhile observing and reporting any specific changes to the staff nurse.
High school graduate.
+ Intermediate English skills preferred. Spoken Arabic advantageous.
+ Demonstrate motivation to work in a health care environment.
