We are looking for a skilled Solar Technician to handle installation, wiring, and testing of Solar systems. The role involves mounting panels, electrical connections, and commissioning systems as per safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install and supervise the mounting of solar modules and support structures.
Install and supervise electrical equipment such as solar inverters, combiner boxes, LV panels, battery systems, ATS, etc.
Perform and supervise DC string wiring and connections.
Perform and supervise AC cabling from inverters to load/grid interconnection points.
Handle and supervise cable laying, glanding, and terminations.
Conduct electrical testing, including continuity, polarity, insulation resistance, earthing, and inverter functionality.
Configure solar inverters for optimal functionality.
Set up remote monitoring systems for solar inverters.
Assist with load testing, synchronization, final system commissioning, and handover.
Provide post-installation support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Skills
ITI/Diploma in Electrical or related field.
1-3 years of experience in PV installation/Knowledge in PV Installation.
Ability to read basic electrical drawings.
Knowledge of tools, measuring instruments, and safety practices.
Valid Qatar Driving License mandatory
