We are conducting WALKIN INTERVIEW for the position of Accountant - with / without Arabic speaking skills on following day & time. Date & Time: 04/05/2024, Saturday 10 am to 1 pm Venue: Bin Shabib Mall, 1st Floor, HR Department, Al Qusais Industrial Area 1, Dubai We are looking for an experienced Accountant with min 2years FMCG Experience in accounting operations. Accountant responsibilities include reconciling, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge and working principles of Accounting. Responsibilities
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Help manager to analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Provide input into department\xe2\x80\x99s goal setting process
- Prepare financial statements according to schedule
- Assist with tax returns
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
- Proven experience as a Accountant/ Assistant Accountant
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Fresh Books and QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP\'s and pivot tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- Arabic native / speaking abilities will be a plus.
- Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
