The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant and cafe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations when required.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and beverages efficiently, following proper service standards.
Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained before, during, and after service.
Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or complaints.
Process bills and handle cash/card payments accurately.
Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
Support team members and maintain a positive working environment.
Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or cafe is
mandatory
.
Excellent communication skills in
English
(Arabic is an advantage).
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Presentable, professional grooming, and positive attitude.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and order-taking procedures is preferred.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
in a restaurant or cafe.
