Job Description

Customer interaction:

Greet guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and take food and drink orders accurately.

Order fulfillment:

Communicate orders to the kitchen and serve food and drinks in a timely and organized manner.

Billing and payments:

Deliver checks and process payments accurately.

Menu knowledge:

Be knowledgeable about menu items, including specials, and provide recommendations or answer guest inquiries.

Table maintenance:

Set and clear tables, maintain a clean and organized dining area, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.

Guest experience:

Check on customers during their meal, address any concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.
Essential skills and qualifications

Customer service:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for providing excellent service.

Multitasking:

Ability to manage multiple tables and requests at once in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail:

Ensuring orders are correct and guests' needs are met precisely.

Teamwork:

Working effectively with other staff, including kitchen and other servers.

Physical stamina:

Must be able to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays.

Food safety:

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
