Position Overview:

Are you ready to sprinkle some sweetness into people's lives? Softly is on the lookout for Waiters/Cashiers who can speak good English and preferably Hindi to join our growing team in Dubai. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our diverse clientele. Whether you're welcoming guests with a warm greeting, taking orders with a smile, or crafting the perfect ice cream creation, you'll be at the heart of our mission to delight and satisfy our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, catering to their needs with proficiency preferably in both English and Hindi. Engage with customers to provide personalized recommendations, answer questions, and ensure a positive dining experience for all.

Order Management

: Efficiently process customer orders, accurately inputting selections into the POS system and handling cash and card transactions with precision. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of orders, maintaining a smooth flow of service during peak hours.

Menu Knowledge and Upselling:

Have a comprehensive understanding of Softly's menu offerings, including flavors, toppings, and special promotions. Proactively upsell additional items and upgrades to enhance the customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shop area, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment, as well as restocking supplies as needed. Adhere to food safety protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both customers and staff.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication during shifts. Support your colleagues in providing excellent service and maintaining a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and camaraderie.

Qualifications:

Good in English and proficiency in Hindi (not a requirement).

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to every customer.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
