Responsible for order taking and service in assigned station
Serves food and beverage to guests in established service style and standard.
Collects food and beverage orders from the kitchen, returns used china, glass and silver to dishwashing area.
Ensures that tables are set up in accordance with established standards and all equipment clean and in good condition.
Ensures that service side station in fully stocked and in clean condition at the commencement of service.
Maintains supplies of china, cutlery and condiments for side station, keeps side station clean and orderly.
Must be able to handle 1 station, including opening and closing duties
Guest satisfaction must always be checked and any problems encountered must be relayed to Outlet Supervisor or Manager
Advises supervisor/manager on all guest comments and complaints
Ensures all guests are welcomed, seated and thanked on departure
Advices and recommends food & beverage choices to guests
Attends to guests\xe2\x80\x99 complaints and requests; refers same to supervisor/manager, when necessary, records guests\xe2\x80\x99 activities in outlet communication log book.
Ensures that guest\xe2\x80\x99s bills are correctly compiled and presented to guests in established manner and correctly paid.
\xc2\xa7 Confident in answering the phone according to agreed standards, being fully aware of booking procedures, including parties and arrangements.
