Present menus and explain daily specials or promotions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Service Operations
Prepare tables by setting up cutlery, glasses, and condiments.
Clear and clean tables after guests leave.
Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Assist in packing take-away orders.
Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with kitchen staff to deliver orders correctly.
Communicate any customer allergies or special requests to the kitchen.
Work closely with other waitstaff and supervisors for smooth service flow.
Cash Handling
Present bills to customers and process payments (cash, card, or digital).
Issue receipts and return change accurately.
Hygiene & Safety
Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
Maintain personal grooming as per restaurant policies.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as a waitress (preferred but not required).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, polite, and customer-focused.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Basic knowledge of food and beverages.
Ability to stand for long hours.
Physical Requirements
Ability to carry trays with food and drinks.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
