Waitress - Belgian Beer Cafe, Madinat Jumeirah
Location: Belgian Beer Cafe, Madinat Jumeirah
Reports to: Restaurant Manager / Floor Supervisor
Job Overview:
The Waitress provides an authentic and energetic dining experience reflective of a Belgian brasserie. This role requires excellent service skills, extensive product knowledge (especially beer), and the ability to thrive in a bustling, social environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Provide attentive, friendly, and informed table service. Guide guests through the menu and extensive beer list, making personalized recommendations.
• Order Management: Accurately take food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and serve them promptly.
• Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the food menu, Belgian beer styles, tasting notes, and proper serving techniques (glassware, temperature).
• Table Maintenance: Manage multiple tables simultaneously, ensuring guest needs are met throughout their visit. Process payments accurately.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other servers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Cleanliness: Set up, clear, and clean tables. Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and side duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a waitress in a high-volume restaurant or pub.
• Interest in and willingness to learn about Belgian beer and cuisine.
• Outstanding communication and upsell skills.
• Positive, energetic attitude and strong team player mentality.
• Ability to carry heavy trays and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
