Job Description
Job Title: Waitress Company: Dolce Hospitality, DIFC Job Type: Full-time Location: DIFC, Dubai Salary: Competitive, based on experience Dolce Hospitality, a well-known group of dine dining restaurants in the DIFC, Dubai is looking for a skilled and experienced Female Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidate will work closely with the restaurant team to ensure that all guests receive prompt and personalized service. Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort guests to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
- Offer menu recommendations and suggest seasonal and special items
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Check guests\' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Remove used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables and properly dispose of them
- Check guests\' satisfaction and handle any issues or complaints
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Proven work experience as a waitress in a fine dining restaurant
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to upsell and recommend dishes and drinks
- Patient and friendly with a positive attitude
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
- Presentable and well-groomed appearance
