JOB SUMMARY

He/She is in charge and responsible for the control of several tables in the service station, maximizing the prompt efficiency of food & beverage service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Personal representative of the hotel, providing service that reflects the high standards of the restaurant. To exceed all guest expectations when they come to visit and dine in the restaurant. Offer support to all colleagues in the restaurant for smooth and efficient operation. Report on duty with punctuality, in his/her complete uniform with proper grooming and appearance in accordance with the standards set by the hotel. Promote and maintain a positive and harmonious working relationship at all times with superiors and colleagues. Maintain a consistently professional, hospitable, and guest-focused approach to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Practice Standard Operating Procedures and Hotel Policies and guidelines with complete understanding. Must have full knowledge of the menu, beverage list, prices, and other special promotions taking place in the hotel. Knowledge of menu content and preparation to be able to answer guest inquiries regarding Food & Beverage. Be able to handle corrective actions if service errors occur to avoid guest complaints and meet guest satisfaction. Understand shift end reports, have knowledge of non-cash or cash transactions, and procedures for depositing cash into the safe or collecting due backs. Practice the preparation of the service station and all side duties assigned to that station. Attend pre-shift opening briefings, weekly and monthly meetings to continually improve the quality of service. Know and follow the proper operating procedure of all equipment used in the restaurant. To be flexible to the tasks assigned or given by the manager or supervisor on duty. Set and prepare tables with linens, silverware, and glassware. Clear and reset tables after guests depart and maintain a clean and organized dining area. Follow all health and safety regulations, including those for handling food and serving alcohol.
