Job Description
The Waitress - Catering will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service during catering functions, ensuring guests receive a professional, welcoming, and efficient experience. The role involves preparing service areas, attending to guests, and maintaining hygiene and service standards throughout events.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests courteously and provide attentive service during catering events. Set up tables, buffets, and service stations according to event requirements. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist in the preparation and arrangement of catering areas before and after events. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the service area at all times. Address guest requests and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth execution of events. Follow food safety, hygiene, and company service standards. Assist with packing, transporting, and setting up catering equipment as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a waitress or in a catering/banquet setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
