Job Summary:

The Waiter is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages promptly, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires maintaining cleanliness, following service standards, and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant in a professional and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve food and drinks according to company service standards. Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and ready for the next guests. Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and promptly address any concerns. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely service. Handle guest payments accurately and issue receipts when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Ability to work well in a team and under pressure during busy periods. Positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and attention to detail. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred. F&B service training or certification is an advantage.
