Job Title: Waiter/Waitress (Server)
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Assistant Outlet Manager / Outlet Manager
Job Summary:
The Waiter/Waitress is the primary point of contact for guests in the dining outlet, directly responsible for delivering an exceptional and memorable dining experience. This role requires a thorough knowledge of the menu, a professional and engaging demeanor, and the ability to provide efficient, attentive, and personalized service from the moment the guest is seated until they depart.
Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service:
• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer any initial questions.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens, to make informed recommendations.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, following established service sequences.
• Order Management & Upselling:
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Suggestively sell menu items, specials, and premium beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
• Table Maintenance & Teamwork:
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station.
• Clear tables, reset them efficiently for the next guests, and assist with general cleaning duties.
• Work collaboratively with buspersons, bartenders, and other servers to ensure seamless service.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and organized during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety principles is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and carry heavy trays.
