Serve guests in a courteous, helpful, and prompt manner. Responsible for coordinating serving station and communicating with the front and back-of-the-house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds our guests' expectations. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared accurately and on a timely basis. Determine when meals have been completed, and total bills and accept payment.
An essential role is to observe your guests during their meal, and feel that they are satisfied with their experience in Eggspectation. Inform Supervisor on duty to take prompt action if you feel that guests are not satisfied.
Follow the company policies as outlined in the Employee handbook and Server training Manual.
You should aim to give the best possible service, in the least obtrusive manner
Maintain positive attendance record by reporting on time on duty.
Knowledge on the entire menu item offered at the restaurant.
Accurately explain to the guest regarding on the method, ingredients, portion size and the side item accompanies with the plate.
Follow the guest standard of service.
Follow the company's standard operating procedure and all sanitation.
Observe table numbering and works in assigned section 100% of the time.
Conduct the first greet with the guest 1 minute after they are seated to inform that the server acknowledges them and introducing yourself
Welcome guests and seat them with care (assisting with tables and chairs, etc.) and provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
Taking food order accurately on tables, punching the order on POS.
Perform check back procedures with tables within 2 minutes of receiving the meals.
Escort the guest to their destinations (table, bathroom, exit, etc.) and always allow guest to pass first
Prepare guest check/bill and transact the payment correctly.
Serves complete meals to all guests at each table in the assigned section.
Maintain a good team environment by assisting team member with their station duties and side work where it is a need.
Perform side work duties assigned.
Maintain constant communication with Supervisors during the shift
Learn the section plan and help set up the restaurant to specified standard
Perform daily cleaning jobs assigned to you.
Pass all guest's messages or requests to Supervisors.
Perform other function as maybe instructed by the Supervisor.
