Job Description

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the cafe, assist them in finding seats, and provide menus.

Order Taking:

Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers and enter them into the cafe's order system.

Serving:

Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring orders are correct.

Table Maintenance:

Keep tables clean and well-maintained, including clearing empty dishes, refilling drinks, and resetting tables for new customers.

Menu Knowledge:

Have thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, dietary options, and daily specials, to assist customers with their choices.

Customer Interaction:

Respond to customer inquiries and complaints with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Coordination:

Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly.

Sales Promotion:

Suggest additional items or upsell menu items to enhance the customer's dining experience.

Billing:

Handle payments, provide receipts, and manage any billing inquiries or issues.

Compliance:

Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages, to ensure a safe dining environment.

Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Communication:

Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff.

Ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not always required.

Team Player:

Willingness to work collaboratively with other staff members.
