Waiter/Waitress
Location: Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reports to: Restaurant Manager / Maitre D'
Job Overview:
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the menu, provide personalized recommendations, and deliver seamless, professional service in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide warm, attentive, and efficient table service to guests.
• Present menus, articulate daily specials, and answer menu inquiries with thorough product knowledge.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, adhering to established service standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly and courteously.
• Ensure table maintenance throughout the meal (clearing courses, crumbing tables, refilling beverages).
• Handle guest complaints with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
• Process payments and ensure accurate billing.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills for handling cash.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Food hygiene certificate is a plus.
