Job Description

Guest Service:

Greet and seat guests, present menus, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations for food and drinks.

Order Fulfillment:

Communicate orders to the kitchen, serve food and beverages promptly, and ensure they are prepared correctly and presented well.

Table Management:

Set and reset tables, maintain a clean and organized dining area, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.

Payment Processing:

Deliver bills and accurately collect payments (cash or credit).

Problem Resolution:

Address guest complaints and concerns, anticipate needs, and work to ensure a positive overall experience.

Menu Knowledge:

Memorize menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer guest inquiries and make informed suggestions.

Customer Service:

Excellent skills in providing a welcoming and attentive experience for diners.

Communication:

Strong verbal and listening skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.

Attention to Detail:

The ability to notice important details, like food presentation or table setup.

Multitasking:

Efficiently handling multiple orders and tasks simultaneously in a busy setting.

Teamwork:

Collaborating with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service.

Stamina & Pressure Handling:

The ability to stand for long periods, work quickly under pressure, and carry trays.

POS Systems Proficiency:

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for order taking and payment processing.
