Job Description

The Waiter / Waitress & Runner is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within the service area. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality dining experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesWaiter / Waitress Duties

Greet and serve guests in a friendly, professional manner Present menus, explain dishes, and take food and beverage orders accurately Relay orders to the kitchen and bar through the POS system Serve food and beverages according to service standards Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction Handle guest requests, feedback, and minor complaints courteously Prepare bills and assist with payments when required
Runner Duties

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately Ensure correct presentation of dishes before serving Assist wait staff during peak service hours Clear and reset tables efficiently Support kitchen and service teams to maintain smooth operations
General Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards Comply with company policies, SOPs, and service procedures Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service Maintain proper grooming and professional appearance at all times
Requirements & Qualifications

Previous experience as a waiter, waitress, or food runner preferred Basic knowledge of food and beverage service Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Physically fit and able to stand for long hours Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
