Duties:
. Serve the patrons with the available food & beverages of the cafe on time
. Collect payments from customers
. Write patrons food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
. Take orders from patrons for food or beverages
. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
. Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
. Prepare checks that itemize and total order costs
. Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
. Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
. Inform customers of daily specials
. To report on duty in the correct time in clean well laundered uniform provided by the company
. Keep the Restaurant clean and tidy always
. Check the table-chair arrangement
. To make sure all the sauce bottle lids are spotless
. Be polite and friendly to our customers at all times, serve them with a smile
. Provide assistance to children, elderly and the handicapped
. Have a fair knowledge of the menu and preparation
. To attend all department meetings and training whenever scheduled
. Make sure all the lost & found items must be handed over to security immediately
