A waiter is a hospitality professional who provides excellent customer service to guests in a restaurant or other food and beverage establishment. This role is vital for creating a pleasant and memorable dining experience for customer.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet guests and present menus.
Assist with seating and answer menu questions, offering recommendations when requested.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld POS systems.
Ensure special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, replenishing supplies and bussing tables.
Deliver food and beverages efficiently and attentively, adhering to service standards.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Process payments accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with colleagues, including bussers, kitchen staff, and bartenders, to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Perform opening and closing side work duties.
Stay updated on menu changes, specials, and promotions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1 to 2 Years of experience
Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, and manage multiple tables simultaneously.
Team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Very good knowledge of food and beverage service.
Fluency in English Read, write, speak
Fluency in Arabic speak
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: BD150.000 - BD190.000 per month
