Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused

Waitress / Waiter

to provide a memorable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, be attentive to guest needs, and ensure prompt and efficient service in a lively restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating when required. Present menus, provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies). Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and overall experience. Clear and clean tables efficiently while maintaining a tidy dining area. Process guest bills accurately and handle payments (cash/card) with care. Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. Upsell additional products when appropriate (e.g., drinks, desserts). Handle guest complaints politely and professionally or escalate to a supervisor when needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a waitress, server, or similar role in a restaurant or cafe setting. Cancelled / visit visa only preferred Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Strong communication and multitasking skills. Basic math and POS handling skills. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic food and beverage items. Previous experience in a sports bar, hotel, or high-volume restaurant is a plus. Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
